Ingersol

In 1892, Robert and Charles Ingersoll founded one of the first American watch factories, developing pocket watches and wrist watches. In 1896 the so-called “Dollar-Watch” was born, a popular watch with high quality and precision available at the very reasonable price of 1 dollar. Ingersoll soon expanded and opened a store in London in 1904. In 1919 Ingersoll developed the first watch with “night design”, the Radiolite with luminous dial. Today Ingersoll has come a long way since the original brand was launched and has released new ranges of watches, including its popular Bison collection launched in 2007. Ingersoll continues to keep strong ties to its history, developing timepieces with the same style, attention to quality and concern for value.
